Preparation for the Ceremony

Please do not eat much during the day but eat a couple of fruits and/or nuts for dinner, just before the begin of the ceremony. Santa Maria works better slightly before during or after digestion. Do not use alcohol or drugs in the previous 48h (coffee and black tea are also not recommended). Please bring some fruits or flowers for offering to the Santa Maria. Bring a yoga mat a warm blanket and a sleeping bag. Music instruments are also very welcome.

About the Ceremony

In a safe space an evening of meditation music and sound bath with the medicine of Santa María plant, in her most therapeutic form, and the medicine of tobacco Rapeh. A deep journey into relaxation, stress release, connection with our own strength and healing potential, a dialogue between our higher self and the most hidden parts of our body on the very cellular level to harmonize emotional and physical vibration. The ceremony will be an integration between plant medicines and medicine songs and healing vibration of sound with voice, guitar violin, Tibetan singing bowls, harmonium, drums, crystal bowls, Planetary Gongs.

About the Medicine of Rapé

Rape´ is a sacred medicine, traditionally coming from the Amazon Forest and nowadays became popular and celebrated in other areas of the Earth. Rapé is a herbal snuff made by tobacco powder mixed with ash from native trees and is known in the Amazon rainforest for its effectiveness to cleanse the mind and body, to realign energy channels, to support increased intuition, to protect from bad spirits and diseases. The tobacco, is the Father Medicine, flower of the hearth, one of the first elementals of the Earth, used since ages in traditional rituals and considered one of the highest master plant, which brings peace and understanding in our lives. Rape´ is given by blowing it through the nostrils and each of these blows contain an intention and a prayer. It expands and balances our energetic field, tranquillises thoughts, decongests the nasal channels, and it is an excellent natural anxiolytic, also allowing us to get in touch with our "inner teacher" activating and improving vision and clarity of mind. This happens because tobacco is a medicine of clarity and purification in general, in the physical plane, as well as in the energetic plane, and thus it would help us to release and dissolve mental blockages (negative thoughts, fatigue, reluctance, fears, etc.). Santa Maria Medicine, Marijuana, has the ability to tap into the inner parts of the brain that remain inactive, by freeing the sub-conscious mind, and transporting it to whole new realm. Using marijuana can also increase a person’s capacity to connect their spiritual side. They get to experience a deep sense of peace and contentment. Their focus gets shifted towards spiritual interests rather than materialistic wanting. These fleeting moments allow smokers to shed their fears, to reach out to a deeper quest of their new found wisdom and experience. Marijuana help also to stay in the present, yet can also help leaving behind all emotional resistance to sink into a realm of appreciation. About Filippo

Filippo is a researcher in the field of healing plants, shamanic and traditional rituals, mindfulness, and sound, to study their interaction with human behaviours as well as their impact on body/mind healing. He started to study plant medicines in 2014 in Colombia. He studied the medicine of Rape´ from medicine Men and Women among Ecuador, Peru´and Brazil and was initiated to the traditional way of giving the medicine of Rape´ to others from the Yawanawa native tradition. He´s currently studying the medicine of Rapé in the Forest of North Brazil with teachers from the Yawanawa and Huni Kuin lineage.

About Anna

Anna was born in the Steppe of Kazakhstan and raised in Russia. 13 years ago she moved to Germany, that became a home and from where she started to travel the world. Since a very little age Anna has got in touch with conscious dreaming and music, which still accompany her. Now she uses sounds of piano, guitar, shamanic drum, nature sounds and her voice in her daily live, composing music and sharing in circles. On this life journey she discovered many door of different spiritual paths, that as she believes are connected to one source where we all have our roots as a human family.
