Preparation for the ceremony
Please do not eat at least 8h prior to the session. Do not use coffee, black the, alcohol or stimulant substances in the previous 48h.
What to bring:
-a clear intention, why are you doing it, what do you need?
-a bucket
-a warm cover
-a bed sheet for the mattress
-3 liters of natural good water to drink during the session, not before. Rice milk is also good.
Important and suggested is to leave time and space free during the day before and after the session.
Resting is strongly suggested, as well as no stressful meetings, works or activities, afterwards in the day.
Post diet and integration of the process.
Do not eat read meet, spicy food. Do not drink coffee, alchol, black thea for two days. This is to allow a deeper integration of the process to happen. Depending on the health condition and the healing process, the post diet indications could be different from case to case.
Full cycle 3 times treatments
1- Kambo can be used as a shamanic medicine in the traditional indigenous way of preparing people for hunting, by cleaning the organs, awakening the senses and strengthen the immune system, good especially before the winter comes.
2- Or it can be used at a deeper level as a medicine to prevent and/or heal mental, emotional and physical disorders and diseases, even in their most advanced manifestation in the body.
A full circle work with the medicine of Kambo is recommended. It implies a series of 3 treatments during three consecutive days or in a period of moon cycle (28 days). It is recommended so, in order to allow and give space to a deeper process of cleaning, clearing and alinement (both physical and psychical).
In case of cronical diseases it is also possible to study a diet and a longer period of treatment with the medicine of Kambo
Depending from the cases the session can also imply use of Rape´ and Sananga medicines.
About the Medicine of Kambo and its healing powers
Kambo is the venomous secretion of Phyllomedusa bicolor (the giant leaf or monkey frog), a bright green tree frog native to the Amazon For use, it’s directly applied to specially made skin burns.
Kambo has a range of traditional and potential therapeutic applications, both medical and psycho-spiritual. It’s recognized as one of the strongest antidepressant, analgesic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory substances found in nature and works through the lymphatic system to help people get rid of heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, parasites and certain bacteria, viruses and fungi.
While originally used by tribes mainly to lift “Panema” (bad luck or dark energy), malaria, snake bites, infections, to increase energy, sexual attraction and “Hunting Magic”, the powerful peptides in Kambo outside of the forest have proven to be highly beneficial in cases of depression, anxiety, Lyme’s disease, chronic fatigue, arthritis, diabetes, candida, Alzheimer’s, blood pressure and hormonal issues as well as HIV.
Outside of traditional contexts, the dissipation of panema is framed in terms of “clearing the pain body,” “realigning the chakras,” or reorganizing personal psychology.
The purge itself may be felt as an expulsion of bad thoughts, habits, negative personality traits, or persistent life problems.
A profoundly transformational tool, kambo is known to increase compassion, courage, emotional stability, and personal sovereignty.

About Filippo
Filippo is a researcher in the field of healing plants, ancestral rituals, mindfulness, and prayers, to study their interaction with human behaviours as well as their impact on body/mind healing. He started to study plant medicines in 2014 in Colombia.
His studies in the field of plant medicine involve medicine Men and Women among Colombia ( Cofanes and Kichwa) Ecuador (Juan Valdivieso from the Sacred Fire tradition), Peru´ (Shipibo) and Brazil (Yawanawa and Huni Kuin).
He is initiated to the medicine of Kambo from his Teacher Juan Alejo and he´s currently deepening the relationship with the medicines of Kambo in the Forest of North Brazil with teachers from the Yawanawa and Huni Kuin lineage, especially with his main teacher Gesileu Phaspy Ninawa.
